Special grit impregnated in Soft Plateau Finishing Brushes remove loose, torn, folded and fractured fragments of metal that ordinary cleaning brushes don’t touch. Soft Plateau Brushes also reach aggressively into the valleys and grooves removing metal particles that would have otherwise been left behind. 15-20 strokes per bore is all that is needed to accomplish a plateaued finish.
